Passito di Pantelleria Bukkuram Sole d’Agosto 2023 Receives 5 Grappoli Bibenda 2027

The Bibenda Guide, published by the Italian Sommelier Foundation, has awarded its highest classification score, the 5 Grappoli, to Passito di Pantelleria Bukkuram Sole d’Agosto 2023.

It is the youngest Passito in the Bukkuram range: it originates from the harvest of Zibibbo grapes in the second week of August, followed by a brief drying process, designed to yield a fresh wine still close to the fruit. The recognition comes in the Guide’s 29th edition, historically a benchmark for the industry since 1999.

The wine will be presented during the 5 Grappoli Festival, scheduled for Rome next November, along with the other award-winning wines.
